2020 has been one of the most hectic years yet, don’t you think?
The face mask has gone from a safety accessory to a fashion accessory in just a couple of months. In today’s everyday life the face mask is one of the most worn items, and therefore it has become a big trend within the fashion world. The biggest fashion brands are making designed face masks. My favorite design is one of the face masks from Gucci, it’s simple, stylish, and easy to match your favorite outfit with. In conclusion, I have the biggest question of them all, are they as safe as everyone thinks?
The Blue Face Mask.
The most popular face mask has to be the blue mask, the one you need to dispose of within 6 hours. I always see someone with it on, but on the other hand, every shop I go to sells it. What I like about the blue masks is that for instance, they are disposable and also fluid-resistant. The issue with them is that they are for surgery use and therefore don’t protect you from breathing in viruses.
In addition, here’s my top 5 list of cute face masks.
You can easily create your own mask, even if sewing is not your best skill. For instance, you can make your own face mask from any T-shirt, napkin, or even a bandana of cotton fabric. The best way to fasten the face mask is in fact, to use either a rubber band or hair ties. I found a website called “Centers for Disease Control and Prevention” that offers you a step-by-step tutorial on how to make it yourself, fantastic right?! I know exactly what I’m gonna do now with the old clothes that I’m not ready to leave behind.
While reading and looking for fashionable face masks I also encountered what claims to be “The most Expensive Face Mask” made by the Israeli Jewelry company, Yvel at a value of $1.5 million!! This masterpiece has everything a face mask with 18-karat gold, 3,600 black, and white diamonds should have! Would you, therefore, call people creative for taking this time into an advantage to make something exclusive as this one in a million face masks? I truly would.
What skincare products help Maskne?
We are advised to wear face masks everywhere we go. In some countries, you even have to wear one by law. I noticed that a hot subject right now is Maskne. Maskne is what we call all the spots and pimples we get around the mouth and nose area where the mask is always covering. I’m going to share with you the 3 products I use to keep my skin as smooth as possible.
Nr. 1 CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser
Nr. 2 Facial Tonic Manuka Ziaja
Nr. 3 Avéne Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream
All these three products can indeed be found online or even in your local drugstore, they are cheap and efficient.
Here’s a little explanation in the end on how you should apply your skincare routine accordingly.
